Einst war der Gasthof Solbad Eigentum der Säurefabrik Schweizerhall und diente den Mitarbeitern der Firma als Kantine. Die Zeiten haben sich geändert und aus der Säurefabrik ist die moderne Firma CABB entstanden, welche heute zu den weltweit führenden Unternehmen in der Feinchemie gehört.
